PROJECT – information circulated to Members.
The Chairman Cllr Ms J S Bourton informed the Meeting that other Councils had already filled all available places.

24.    OLD SCHOOL HOUSE - DDA COMPLIANCY AND STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS
Deferred until a later date. Meeting to be arranged.

25.    RIVERBANK EROSION AT THE LODE, BRANDON - UPDATE

THAT BRANDON TOWN COUNCIL OBTAINS A THIRD QUOTE FOR REPAIRS TO RIVERBANK EROSION AT THE LODE, BRANDON
26.    THE ORCHARD, COULSON LANE, BRANDON - UPDATE
Mrs Harwood and The Brandon Communities Partnership have been informed of Brandon Town Council making arrangements to replace the Orchard wall with a steel stock proof fence. Written tenders for this work are already being processed in response to an advertisement that appeared in the East Anglian Daily Times on Thursday 26 February 2004.

27.    JUSTICES LICENCE APPLICATION
27.1    Transfer of Justices Licence: Spar (Formerly Dillons/One Stop) 33-35, High Street, Brandon.
No objections.
27.2    Transfer of Justices Licence: Tesco Store, London Road, Brandon.   
No objections.

31.2    The construction and widening of Brandon Cemetery footpaths.

31.4    Old School House damp problems at the front elevation – gutter replacement and repairs.

THAT BRANDON TOWN COUNCIL ACCEPTS THE QUOTE SUBMITTED BY T W COOK, ROOFING CONTRACTOR, TO UNDERTAKE CAST IRON GUTTER/DOWNPIPE REPLACEMENT AND ROOF REPAIRS TO THE FRONT ELEVATION OF THE OLD SCHOOL HOUSE, MARKET HILL, BRANDON.
31.5    Town Keepers contract mobile phones.
Further enquiries and a comparative quote to be obtained.

31.6    Environmental testing on proposed allotment site at Gravel Hill, Brandon.
Gravel Hill was previously dismissed as a proposed allotment site. Resolution Record No. BTC/314/01/Mar/04 refers.
